The EP serves as a sequel to his 2013 EP, Truly Yours. It includes six tracks with guest appearances by Young Jeezy, 2 Chainz, and Bas. The EP features production by J.Cole, Jake One, and Canei Finch, among others. It was praised for its introspective lyricism and storytelling, as well as for its cohesive sound. The EP debuted at number 21 on the US Billboard 200 and was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
